The owners of this recently built house discovered that the kitchen had two major failings – lack of natural light and lack of view. This modest renovation adds a large picture window to the view with a window seat and adds additional light next to the existing window. This creates a corner of light for the kitchen. In addition, relocation of the oven and additional cabinets creates more working space and views while cooking. There are places for family and company to sit while the cook works and the kitchen is more integrated to the living areas of the house.
